Summary

Design of training modules related with the practical application and verification of EMAS – Eco-management and Audit Scheme, regarding:

• Human resources, of small and medium enterprises, local authorities and public institutions, capable of contributing, by tacking decisions and daily practices, for the improvement of the environmental behaviour in the organisations they integrate;

• Training of Environmental Verifiers;

• Human resources of the organisations that work in the environmental sector.

Objectives

Development of didactical training material organised in well contained curricular modules to promote, stimulate and support the implementation of the revised EMAS (EMAS II) regulation and its verification.

• Promote the development of the quality and of the capacity of innovation of the training systems and devices of the involved partners.

• Diffusion of products and results of the pilot project, extended to the adaptation and the transference of vocational training methods inside training systems of the involved countries.

• Production of materials for diffusion and availability in what concerns effective dissemination purposes.

• Consistent coordination of promotion objectives through work meetings and seminars.
