Postgraduate Study

A close cooperation with the Engineering Faculty at Universidade Lusíada de Vila Nova de Famalicão is regarded as fundamental to support the idea of preparing students to the industrial environment. Collaboration has its foundations in a form of technical and scientific consultancy. Unit members are involved, as advisory bodies, in the creation of new higher degrees as well as new technical degrees. There are several initiatives involving the creation of new technical degrees in the fields of Energy and Production. Also, in response to the expansion of Universidade Lusíada, there is the intention of creating two new MSc degrees, in the fields of “Energy Management” and “Renewable Energies”, complementing the existent MSc degrees in Operations Management and Industrial Management.
